Mail merger for labels

I have set up address list that I require to print labels
for. It has been set up in excel in the following format
Company Name Col 1 Persons Name Col 2 Street Address Col
3 Location Postcode col 4. Layout is vertical.

Can we do the labels from excel or transfer to word
Do we need to change format

We just require basic instrustion on the process as this
is our first attempt, to this point we haven't had much
luck. We do require this information urgently.

Open WORD, use Tools/Letters and Mailings to find the wizard
which will walk you through the merging of a database or
spreadsheet list into a document and mailing labels.
