Mail merge on tools menu

I just updated to word 2003. In word 2000 (and in 2003 also) I have about 25
"mail merges" in the drop down menu. How do I get rid of those?

This is one of the many problems often caused by the Microsoft Works Suite
Add-in for Word. If you are running Word freestanding (not starting it from
the Works Task Launcher), you should uninstall the add-in (through Control
Panel | Add/Remove Programs).
