Mail merge, can't unfilter

Have created a subset of Mail Merge Recipients using a filter on
multiple fields and now can't get back to the full list. Tried resetting
all of the field filters to "All" but that seems to have no effect. I
know the SQL statement is buried somewhere in the document because when
I close and re-open I get a message to that effect. Help please.
