Mail Delivery System notices

Bob Day

My inbox is overwhelmed with undeliverable message notices (that I never
sent emails to in the first place).

They are always something like below. I have a well protected computer, and
have run anti virus software, anit-spyware software, everything I know to do
but cannot get them to stop. What can I do?
Thanks!
Bob

You can delete them and possibly create a filter to delete them as they
arrive. Some spammer is spoofing your address, this can happen various
ways and probably has nothing to do with you, someone to whom you sent
an email has a worm on their computer and it's picked your address from
your friend's address book to use as the "from" address.

You can take positive action by asking those to whom you send email to
please run Spybot Search&Destroy or other malware detection software
along with a good virus scanner to clean up their computer, you might
get lucky and find the one who's computer is infected.
