Mail Accounts

We have 3 mail accounts but only 1 user on the system and we would like to
stay with only one user "identity". How do we keep the mail addressed to
each of the accounts separated? When I get the mail it goes into the only
inbox that apparently exists. I can't figure for the life of me how this is
an improvement over the way XP handled it.

Use Message Rules and create folders to direct the various mail to them?
Tools>message rules>mail>add
