magnify WHOLE screen

Hi,

how can I magnify the whole screen (not only a part as in the magnifier
tool)? -- what I'm looking for is something like temporarily switching
to a virtual desktop resolution which is higher than the resolution of
the monitor.

Any help much appreciated.
 
Are you asking how to change the screen resolution? If so, right click on a
blank spot onthe desktop, select Properties, then select Settings and lower
the resolution.
