Hi JanJuha,
This is WinXp Home, and you changed your user account from being an
administrator to being a standard (or "limited" or "restricted") user?
Could you explain a little more:
Why do you say no longer have access to your email?
[Just check: Watch out for the CAPS LOCK key, and upper/lower case. Is there
a possibility that you might have got confused between 0 (zero) and O or o
(letter o)? (I myself did, many years ago.]
If you really can't remember, and you can't log in, then it may be that you
have locked yourself out with repeated attempts at entering an incorrect
password. Wait half an hour and see if things change.
Anyway, here's a procedure that might help.
Turn off your computer and restart it, and the moment it begins starting up
keep hitting F8 quickly

Set/Change the Administrator Account password using Safe Mode
For computers with Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP Professional in a
workgroup:
Boot the computer in Safe Mode by turning the machine on and immediately
pressing the F8 key several times until the Advanced Windows menu appears.
Use the arrow keys to highlight Safe Mode and press the ENTER key.
At the login screen, click on the Administrator icon
(might be called "Owner", or "Administrator")
first try entering no password, otherwise try and remember what password you
might have set,
and type in the password,
If you do not see an Administrator icon, type in the username Administrator
If you still can not get in, because you can not remember the password, come
back to me for further help, and stop right there.
If you successfully get in, then fine. Immediately set the password on the
built-in administrator account to something that you will NOT FORGET, and in
fact, set all other account passwords to something suitable too. Test them
straight away.
Click Start, and pull up to Control Panel (or point to Settings, and then
click Control Panel).
Click User Accounts.
Click the Administrator
Click Change the Password button
Type the new password, and then click Change Password.
Quit the User Accounts tool, and then restart the computer.
MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT FORGET THE ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT PASSWORD, or you
will need to get help reinstalling the operating system.
Get back to me if still stuck.
best,
Cecil Ward.
