how do I in an Excel 2003 macro...Take 5 workbooks...goto a specific
worksheet in that work book. autofilter on a cell copy and paste that
data in a blank workbook...

Kathryn_d,
If you are sure of the necessary steps, record your own macro.
Open the workbook, select "Tools", select "Macro",select "Record New macro".
Make sure you select "This workbook" and name it something easy to remember.
Then just walk throught the steps and Excel will record everthing you do.
When done try running the macro.
