Macros - probably easy fix

Chris

I am using Powerpoint 97 at work. Everytime I open one of
my presentations it says the presentation has macros in
it and asks if i want to enable or disable them. I do not
know where the macros came from. I tried clicking on tools
macros delete macros but it says there are no macros in
it. Why am I getting the message to enable or disable
macros if there are no macros in it? Is there a way to get
rid of the macros that aren't there? I know I could click
don't show warnings of macros but I would prefer to keep
that.

What you need to do is Click on Macros, Edit, and in the Project window, delete any modules that are there. close the window, and the save you presentation. See if that clears up your problem.

I appreciate your help but unfortunately it did not work.
I clicked marcos under the tools bar and a box comes in
that says "Macros name" and an empty text box is below it.
No macros are present in the text box to click on and
edit. Are they hiding somewhere? If there are no macros in
that text box why does it say I have macros?
