macros not running

has anyone seen anything like this or has any inup on how
to approach the problem
I have an excel spreadsheet that I send to 90 users every
3 months. In the sheet there is a button and a macro to
perform some funcitons . It works almost everytime but in
some installations (1-2%) if fails. Trying to trace the
error we find that the button is ok, the macro linked to
it ok, but pressing the button simply fails to start the
macro
any ideas as on how to approach this would be interesting

This is something very simple, but might cause the problem you are
experiencing. Is there any chance that the user has a visual basic toolbar
open and has the design mode button selected?
