"Macros may contain viruses"

mucrick

Each time I open Outlook, the following box appears:

Microsoft Word
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 10
\startup\palmapp.dot contains macros.

Macros may contain viruses. It is always safe to disable
macros, but if the macros are legitimate, you might lose
some functionality.

I'm given a choice to disable or enable the macros.

My machine's operating system is Win XP Pro and we have
Office XP/Outlook 2002 installed. We also have Norton
Internet Security and Anti Virus running in the
background. This error occurs each time I open either of
two outlook profiles. Is there a fix that will eliminate
this message from popping up each time I open Outlook?

Thanks,

mucrick

either remove the template from the startup folder, disable word as the
editor, or sign it with selfcert (search for selfcert.exe and run it) and
trust it.
