How do I assign a recorded macro to a command button in a word document?

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt,

Tools | Record new macro | Toolbars

On the box that appears, on the right hand side you will see something that
says something like Norma.NewMacros.Macro and it will have a number. Click on
it once and then drag it to your toolbar. Once it is on your toolbar,
right-click on it and in that box you can change the name of it or you can
create a button for it.

Once that has been accomplished you can then go thru the steps that you want
your macro to accomplish and then stop recording the macro by clicking on the
button on the macro toolbar.

Close your document without saving it and then open a new document and click
on your macro button to test it to be sure that it works properly.

I hope this has been helpful to you.
