I cannot install Macromedia Flash Player. I have Windows XP, Explorer 6.0.
I've disabled the Norton, Pest Patrol and Po-Up Stopper and reduced the
Explorer, Tools, Security level to LOW and still it will not load.

I do not have a Fire Wall but I do have a router.

Any suggestions?

What's happening? Are you getting any error?Clean all the temp. files
C:\Windows\temp
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\local settings\temp
Start>run>services.msc>ok scroll down to "Windows Installer" and double
click it. Stop the service if it is running, set the startup type line
to disabled. Click apply/ok and reboot. Now just reverse the
process.Disable antivirus and retry.

Got the problem solved. I had to go to the Macromedia web site and download
the program (save) to my hard drive, close Explorer, disable Norton, RUN,
BROWSE and click on flashplayer7_winax.exe

Finally installed.
