Macro woes

I suspect that this might have something to do with Spyware Doctor, which I
just purchased and installed. I'm not able to save macros and autocorrect
entries. I set the macro security to low and have them saved to all open
documents and templates. But when I exit out and get back in, they're gone! I
have a brand new, shiny computer with Office 2003 Pro installed. Entering in
all my macros and autocorrect entries is bad enough. But they're not saved!
Help? Thanks!

First of all change your macro security to medium. Low invites all kinds of
problems.
As for the inability to save changes to normal.dot, this is inhibited by
third party software, with the major culprit being Acrobat 7 (full version -
not the reader) in which case see the last part of

Thank you, Graham!

I do have Adobe Acrobat 7 (full version) But I've had it for a couple of
months and this is the first time I've had this problem. Well, I'll try
anything! I need my macros!

I certainly appreciate your reply!

That did the trick! My sanity is restored! (Well, maybe not! But thank you
again!)
