Macro to Automatically Enter Current Date/Time in Notes Area

I need some way to automate a phrase in the Outlook calendar notes area. I
often paste entire email messages in the notes area, and then add my own
comments later. Each time I add more comments, I type:

Notes added 10/10/08, 3:47 p.m. --

Can I design a macro that will enter this with the current date and time
when I press a keystroke combination?

I'm not a programmer, so I have no idea how to do this.

That's possible, but it's more than just a few lines of code. Depending on
your Outlook version you could do that by using the Word object library
(Outlook 2007 only), or with the Redemption (www.dimastr.com).

If you don't want to code that youself, you might want to look at
www.slipstick.com, and see whether there's an addin already available for
that.

Thank you, Michael. I have Outlook 2003 and my company's IT department will
not approve add-ins. Thanks, anyway. I'll just have to keep using my brain
and my fingers.
