I finally got the Calendar by Chip Pearson to work, but when
I tried to update it for November, it gives me grief about
security, macros, and digital signatures.

Can I remedy this?

Dot,

The colander workbook contains macros, so you need to set your
security setting (Tools menu, Macros, Security) to Medium or Low.
