macro for form box

Hi,

I have columns with data in it. If I go to data..form..new, I can enter new
data.

How do I create a macro to do that? I tried, but once I hit new, I can't stop
the macro. Then if I go to run the macro that in visual basic says
activesheet.showdataform. Then if I run the macro it comes up with a strange
form box.

How can I create a button for that, also?
