macro buttons in PPT?

Sorry for duplicating the post, I forgot the Subject.

In the PPT object model I don't see the Fields collection that exist in
Word. If I want portions of the presentation's text to behave like macro
buttons, e.g. to respond to mouse clicks, how could I do this in PPT?

Select the text, rightclick and choose Action Settings.
Apply the action setting you like (or even have it run an existing macro)
