I have a 7 machine network using mircosoft wireless equipment.
I had all working and all able to see and connect to each, other. I decided
to change the name of one of the machines,
did it and the network found it..
but when you click on veiw workgroup computers it shows the old machine's
name and the new name of the machine. So 8 machines now show up. it cannot be
accessed, but its there like a ghost. and I can't seem to remove it.. how do
I solve this problem, or is it a problem with Win XP pro.

There's no explicit way to make the ghost name go away. It will
eventually go away on its own.
