Mac Disks/CDs on XP?

Quick question here - are there any programs that would allow my PC running
XP to access Macintosh formatted discs and CDs?

I have just switched from a Mac to a PC recently, and I'm having trouble
transfering some of my files over - all I have to do it with right now is
through the floppy disk drives... it's alright for the smaller files, but I
have files which are wayy too big to fit on the disks (not to mention the
time it'd take me to transfer the files from a few CDs that I have).

Preferablely free, or if not something cheap if possible. Any help, links,
or suggestions would be much appreciated.

I have a prog called Laplink, came on a cover disc. Dunno if it's Mac
compatable though. Just load on both m/c's, connect with parallel
cable, (or network them) and drag and drop. There must be something
similar where you are.....check the mag. racks :)

who me?

Nothing out there that is free, but several commercial programs do the job.
try http://www.asy.com/scrtm_go.htm for one at $65 USD.

You are not one of those Snow Birds that comes to Arizona in a $100,000
motor home, pulling a $30,000 car, looking for a free place to park are you?

the cheapest program I could find costs around US$40, which is just wayyy
too much for something that I was gonna use only once. Found a solution
though - downloaded a copy of MacOpener - it has a 14(?) day demo mode.
Works like a charm.

Thanks for all those who offered suggestions.

I wish I was mate, I wish I was... can't even afford a car. Good thing my
folks still let me stay at home. Free rent. with my job I can barely
afford to eat...
