How would you determine the MAC address in Windows?

At a cmd prompt type "ipconfig /all". It is the Physical Address in the
results.

Another method would be to right-click on the icon for the network
connection, select Status, click on the Support tab and then on the
Details button.

I have XP Home on my netbook & I did "ipconfig /all" & it came up with 2 MAC
addresses - the LAN controller & the wireless controller. Since I want to
connect to my wireless router & set up MAC filtering, I assume that I use the
wireless MAC address, correct?

Thank you.

Whichever one will be requesting the connectivity. Wouldn't do much good if
the person on the list never presented themselves to be let in the club.
