Lycos coming up on address bar CNTRL-ENTER

I like to use the CNTRL-ENTER feature to get to sites. It
seems that suddenly when I do the browser is reacting like
it is a search and taking my to the Lycos search site.
Anyone know why this is happening and how I can get rid of
it?
