LSASS.EXE

Jeff

I have a question regarding lsass.exe - were seeing very
high util of lsass.exe on our dc's, specifically the
global catalogs. We have 7 offices, each office
containing two dc's (one being a gc per office) and our
main office has three dc's, two being gc's. We have
around 80k to 90k objects in our active directory, with
exchange 2000 coming into play. Our domain controllers
are at SP4. Has anyone seen high util of lsass.exe? All
servers have 2gb of memory, are dual procs and the infr.
master IS NOT on the same server as a gc. We have no
replication problems but we have seen lsass.exe util
increase since e2k has been introduced into the
environment - around 800 - 1000 mailboxes. Thanks all.
