When I reboot my Dell Dimenssion 440 (1 GB of memory) I
can go to the Windows Task Manager and see the "Mem
Usage" of "lsass.exe" start out at around 5,776 k.
Without doing anything else, I can sit and watch the
task "Mem Usage" gradually increase by about 4k every ten
seconds, while my hard drive continuosly cycles.
This memory leak still occurs after reinstalling the
operating system and getting every single update from
Microsoft.
If anyone from Microsoft monitors these news groups,
please tell Bill that it is crap like this that inspires
people to install Linux on the desktop.
