Low volume using sigmatel 92xx for XP

I've checked 10x and everything is on full volume, yet it's still pretty low.
When on an airplane you can't hear anything with the dull roar of engine
noise. It's like you have to be in a totally quiet environment before you
can head a dvd or windows live chats. I have the current driver, anyone with
any suggestions would be appreciated.

Check in Control Panel under Sounds or Sigma Tel and see what is chosen for
the output device. On my Win7 notebook, I have to pick Speakers/Headphones
or the volume is very low (I don't have Sigma Tel on my XP box).
