Please help, recently I get notificaton saying my virtual

Right click "My Computer", click "Manage", right click "Computer
Management (Local)", click "Properties", click on the "Advanced"
tab, then on the "Settings" button under "Performance". In the
"Performance Options" dialog box, click on the "Change" button
under "Virtual memory". I'd recommend selecting "Custom size"
and setting the initial size to the "Recommended: size, and the maximum
size to maybe twice that. But look at what your current settings are and
make a judgement.

Low virtual memory messages are an indicator that you have insufficient free space on your hard drive or on a partition on your hard drive.
How large is each partition / drive and how much free space?
I suggest you Enable Show Hidden Files and Folders. To enable show hidden files select Start, Control Panel, Folder Options, View, Advanced Settings and place a check before Show Hidden Files and Folders. Next Enter Windows Explorer and place the cursor on each drive letter in turn, right click and select Properties.
It would be helpful to know what you are doing immediately before the low virtual memory messages appear.
How much ram memory does your machine have?
You can create more free space by:
1. In Outlook Express empty your Deleted Items folder.
2. In Outlook Express run File, Folder, Compact All whilst OFFLINE.
3. Run Disk Cleanup. Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup.
4. Empty Recycle Bin.

We are trying to solve a problem not to debate some of the more technical aspects of virtual memory! If you are saying that Kala may have some undesirable virtual memory settings or an undesirable "memory manager" then say so in language that Kala will understand!
I agree these are possibilities but there is a limit to how much you can say in a single message unless you resort to totally canned responses <g>.
Of course we are both assuming that Kala will be able to find his original message and the replies, which is questionable <sigh>.

None of your answers will help with virtual memory, they
will clear cache, but that does not change virtual memory.
Further, the amount of raw knowledge that Kala needs to
answer your questions implies a level of knowledge not
present in the OP question. The article I cited has details
and explanations that will impart knowledge and answers.
