Low Virtual Memory

I just got a new computer with Windows XP, whenever I the
desktop loads after starting the computer I get a message
that the virtual memory is low. Any ideas as to why this
is popping up???

Have you tried to set it higher...? If it is new I would call the vendor.

suggestions. One that seems likely is the one relating to Intel
Application Accelerator, though I have recently seen it said that a
similar thing happens at startup if Norton Antivirus 2004 is installed
and resident.
