Thanks for the nice link and suggestion, that is the exact application
that I'm running on my P3 Linux box. :-)

Glad you like it. BTW, VIA put a lot of effort into multimedia
additions like MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 decoders into their processors. I
would not use them to play the latest and greatest 3D games, but VIA
certainly found an interesting niche and maybe you are interesting in
these applications, too.

The sub-$10 solutions are not ready for the mass market yet. But if
you like to tinker a bit yourself and want to bring PC-homebuilt to a
new dimension, then how can you go wrong with a $10 experiment?

I have seen those mini itx boards that come in green boxes. They also
have Nano-itx and Pico-itx.

Yeah I still have the web TV with Cirrus ARM processor. You coud
easily put linux on that.

Wish they could run linux on the TI-MSP430 processor, extremely low
power ;-)
