"Low Disk Space"

We have two Hard drives, C & D. C has 16 G's of space. D
has 64 G's of space. The computer is rarly used for
anything but Email.
C is filled up and the "Low HD Space" warning is
displayed. This prevents some applications from working.
We cannot understand why it is full. There are no new
files on it, so it seems. The computer is rarely used.
And the D HD is empty.
What does this mean and how can we correct it?
Thanks!
regards,
Curtis

Try running chkdsk to make sure you don't have any problems with your drives
(your free space may be reported incorrectly if you are using FAT32 or some
other issue may be causing the problems).

Right click the drive and then goto Properties, then goto Tools and under
the Error Checking section, select Check Now

The computer is now very slow. And it says, it will shut
down within one minute. Is informatuonmissing that I don't
get an answer?

You should include the message you are seeing or error message you are
seeing. This makes it much easier to help you.

Just a guess, but if you are seeing the following message:

"This system is being shut down in 60 seconds by NT Authority/System due to
an
interrupted Remote Procedure Call (RPC)"

Then it is likely that your computer is infected with the Blaster.Worm
virus. Go to the following website for details on removing it.
