Lotus Wordpro 1997 to MS Word 2000

I wrote a book, in Lotus Wd Pro 1997. System crashed. I saved the file in MS Word. Have all the WordPro settings and formating showing in the DOC file.
How can I get this mess into another format in order to get it in MS Word 2000 as a ledgable DOC file?

Do you still have Word Pro? If so use it to save the document into a
mutually compatible format such as RTF.
