Lotus Notes/Export to email

I need to write some code to do the following:

If the value in A1=>$5000.00 then open Lotus notes and send an email to a
specific person with the subject title: Overage

I will also need to apply this to other cells with other amounts.

Any thoughts?
 
Encountered identical problem, today. Telephone support told us that Lotus
Notes (at least up through R5, newer versions may differ) uses a propriety
mail-interface that Office can't interact with. Their best suggestion was to
use MS Outlook instead of Notes.
 
I have not tested this but I did recv somwting from another user - if you
want to email me at (e-mail address removed) - I can send you what I was sent
and you can try it out?
