Lots and lots of white space in Add and Remove Programs

WHen I open Add and Remove Programs, about half of my installed programs are
properly displayed. When I scroll down past the first half, I get hundreds
and hundreds of blank white line space. Finally, as the scroll bars nears
the very bottom of the scroll feature, the remaining half of my installed
programs are displayed.
I have repaired my Windows XP os and installed all the updates, yet this
annoying problem persists.
Any help out there???

When I had this happen I popped into the registry, looked at the list of
what's displayed in the Add/Remove Programs list and removed the first one
that wasn't displaying. I closed the list and open it again and *poof* the
problem was gone.

And yes, AutoCAD was installed on the system I dealt with.

Older versions were/are known to do this. Glad you got it fixed.

I installed auto cad 2002 and got the white space problem. Went to
Regedit/HKEY/local/machine/software/microsoft/windows/current
version/uninstall/{5783F2D7-0101-0409-0000-0060B0CE6BBA} and diplay icon had
the value (-1) after it. I changed the (-1) to just 1 and the white space
disappeared.
