Losts emails in Outlook 2000

I recenly lost all of my emails (in my inbox, sent items, deleted files,
etc.) from 11/12/04 through 4/19/05. I have no idea where they went. I
looked in the back up folder for Outlook 2000. But cound not find any back
up files there (also, I have not knowingly backed up any of my Outlook
files). I did a search for pst files on my computer and found two files in
c:\Program Files\Support.com\backup\ou\outlook.pst. One file is about 8.2
MB and had a "last modified" and "created" date of 11/12/04. The second file
is about 27.5 MB and had a last modified and created date of 4/19/05. Since
these dates coincide with the dates of my lost emails, is it possible the
lost emails are contained somewhere in these files? If so, how do pull this
infomation back into Outlook 2000?

FILE: OPEN:pST

then navigate to the location where the PST files are kept and open
the file of your choice.

as to how/why they disappeared...is it possible you did an archive?
did you search for an archive.pst?

And what folder would than be, since Outlook 2000 doesn't have a "backup
folder"?

If you didn't explicitly back them up, then they weren't backed up, since
there is no automatic backup feature built into Outlook. You may have some
add-on that backs up for you, but if you didn't install it, how could it be
there?

To find out if either of these files contain your missing data, click
FIle>Open>Personal Folders File, browse to each in turn, select it, and
click OK.
