lost!!!!

I want to copy pictures onto a cd and when i right click and go to copy to cd it only has filecd icon and when i send it to that drive it tells me to put a cd in the drve and continues to tell me that..Do i have the cofiguration wrong on my comp.can some one please help me.........I can copy to floppy with no problem
 
Try checking the device manager to see if there are any problems with the
installation of the CD burner drivers.
