Lost Windows utilities because of Nimda

I recently was sent the Nimda virus. Fortunently my
virus protection caught it(or so I thought). Ever since
then I have lost all my Windows Games,Volume control
center, and my calculator. Does anyone know how I can
retrieve these things from windows or how I can find them
to download them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Put your XP disk in the drive and close the selection
screen when it comes up. Now go>start\run and type in
sfc /scannow be sure to put the space in. Good luck
