lost usernames on start up

Previously i was using the administrator screenname as my
own as only i was using the computer. But recently i have
chosen to add another person to my computer. Doing this
though meant i had to give the administrator screenname a
new name which i set as my own, Gaz. After doing this i
found that i had lost all of the documents, pictures etc
which i had saved on this previous screenname.

In an attempt to get these back i completed a system
restore to a time just before i had changed the usernames.

Now the computer starts up and gets to the start screen
where i would usually choose a screenname but there now is
none.

use safemode - this gives you a default admin user
account, from where you should be able to repair the
damage. Then you should copy or move all needed stuff
from the old admin to the gav account. The data is all in
c:\documents and settings.
