Lost the Delete (X) icon on my toolbar

I was deleting a number of messages by clicking on the X icon in the
Outlook toolbar. I think at one point I clicked it a few times in rapid
succession, and the icon disappeared (along with a few others, I
think).

How do I get the delete icom back ont the toolbar?

On the right hand side of the bar, there should be a simple DOWN arrow. when
clicking on it, it should show a menu such as "add or remove buttons" when
you move your cursor over that you should be able to highlight another pop-up
menu called STANDARD. On this you should be able to click delete. Then click
on the main window area.

The delete icon should have appeared.

If not then please send us a message and I'll see what other ways I can come
up with.
