lost sound devices

when ever i enter a room in yahoo messenger i get the following message
no sound device found or it needs to be re-configured. i believe i acidently
removed ActiveX controll as it will not respond. how do i get the sound
device returned, with out having to buya sound card or re-configure my
computer to allow sound.

Right Click on My Computer > Properties > Hardware > device Manager > look
for your soundcard. If there is a yellow triangle near it delete the entry
and re-boot. > let WXP re-install it and re-install your drivers if
necessary.
