lost shortcut to desktop

hello,

By accident today, on the QuickLinks section of the XP toolbar, I moved the
Desktop icon (desktop.swf or something) to the desktop. When I noticed that,
I drag&dropped that file back on the Quicklinks bar. However when i did this
action, it was only a shortcut to the desktop that was taken to the bar, not
the actual desktop file. Not knowing this I permanently deleted the icon left
on my desktop. Now the shortcut on the quicklinks bar does not work any more,
saying "file desktop.swf not found".

Any ideas of what I can do? Can that file be downloaded? If I copy/paste it
from another computer, where do I put it on C:/ ?
