Lost sent emails & Personal Folders dissappearing

Recently I have lost a sent e-mail generated in ACT! 6.0.
The e-mail should have gone to Outbox in Outlook, but did
not get there. I just recently went out to get my e-mails
and a whole subfolder under Personal Folders just
dissappeared.
 
What is your default program for mail? Have you checked with Act! for
assistance?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
