I, stupidly deleted the wrong registry file and cannot
seem to remedy this situation. Configsys.exe shows up
blank, missing file... same with registry window. I
tried to use system restore to before I did this deletion
but it will not restore - what now? Any suggestions
before I have to re-install my entire operating system?
I was in the registry to get rid of internet installed ad
files.(as per step by step instructions from Norton web
site) Every time I open Internet Explorer I have to wait
about 5 minutes until the pop-ups finish before I can do
anything on line. If I try to continue before all the
pop-ups finish I encounter an error and IE has to shut
down. This is what I tried to fix in the first place!
