Lost Recycle Bin

When I uninstalled Norton Anti-Virus it also removed my
recycle bin. Has anyone found a way to recover a recycle
bin without reinstalling windows?

Get the TweakUI utility. Of the many options it features, there is a way to
toggle desktop icons on or off. The Recycle Bin is one of them (look for a
Desktop tab).

The recycbin file no longer exists on my computer - it was removed

completely from windows (I even checked the registry). If it were only
the icon I would have no problem taking care of that.

The recycle bin is a system folder named Recycler (Recycled on FAT
systems). If removed, it is automatically recreated by Windows when
needed. If that function was disabled by Norton, the Norton people should
be able to tell you how to re-enable it.
