lost quality with AVI ?

Hello,

When we convert a film from digital camera into AVI format, quality must be
equal, normaly ?
Colors, after coping to the hard disk in AVI, is not good.

Hello Coco,

AVI format is the raw format of the digital camera. There isn't any
conversion happening here. Is the colors from the captured file different to
the colors in the preview window during capture or is it different from the
display on the camera itself?

Yes, the colors in the captured file are different to thoses of the camera.
I think the colors, during the capture, are differents too. (the window is
too small...).
