lost programs

hi i was wondering if you could possibly help. i had a computer virus
which i was able to get rid of but in the process lost all windows
programs ( word, spreadsheet, excel and all the games that came with
the computer) i've tried a system restore, a reboot but still nothing
is there anything that you can advise me to do.

Were you provided with a Microsoft Office CD when you purchased the
computer? What version of Office are we discussing?
