Lost Primary Key

S

Scott Watson

While filtering records in an Access Data file, an
unexpected message displayed, "Record is deleted". I did
not click 'OK', but closed the box. All records inthe
database still appeared to be listed. I looked in the
Student Table and noticed that the ID number field
displayed 0. In the table design, no primary key was
listed. Tried to reenter the Primary Key with no luck.
Thanks for your help

If you used to have a primary key and it disappeared, then the database is
partiallly corrupt.

Create a new (blank) database.
Import everything *without* the relationships (Options button in the Import
dialog).
Recreate the indexes, and then the relations.
