lost photos/pictures

hi just downloaded vista now i have lost all my grandkids photos, where are
they? shall i delete vista and go back to XP?though i cant even find
add&remove programme

Did you do an upgrade or a clean install? If you did an upgrade, see if
there is a folder called Windows.Old. If there is, you old data
(pictures, etc.) should be in there. Copy the files to your User folder
as desired.

If you don't see Windows.Old, then please post back with a more detailed
explanation of what you did.
