When my information was moved from my old computer to the new one, my
personal folders were not listed under my favorites in "Outlook" i found a
number of folders on the data drive but cannot move, copy or open them. How
do I get my personal folders in my new version of outlook. NoteL The
calender has all the original information.

It all depends on how your data was moved from the old PC to the new one and
if you are connected to an Exchange server or not. If you are not connected
to an Exchange server, all of your messages, contacts, calendar, etc. is
contained in a pst file (i.e. outlook.pst or something similar). So if
whoever moved your data for you simply copied the pst file to your new PC,
your personal folders should be there. However, it's possible to have more
than one pst file. Only you or your e-mail administrator would know that.

I'm not sure what you meant when you said you "...found a number of folders
on the data drive...". What kind of files are in those folders?

Lastly, you mentioned that you cannot find your personal folders under
"favorites". Have you clicked on "Folders List"? That will show you all of
the folders you have. It could be that you just haven't added your personal
folders under the "Favorites" section (they don't appear there
automatically...you have to add them).
