I restarted my computer earlier, and when I went to type in my password, it
wouldn't except it. I didn't change it, so I don't know what the problem is.

And since I can't log on to that computer, there's no way I can get programs
or anything. I don't have a CD thing that I've read about either.

That computer is Windows XP and nothing like this has every happened before.

Any advice what I can do?

1. If it's XP Home, tap F8 repeatedly at startup and select Safe Mode. There
is a good chance that the Administrator account doesn't have a password set.
Or, try pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del twice at the Welcome screen. This should take
you to a more traditional W2000-style screen where you can select
Administrator.

Once you're in as Administrator, you can reset your normal account's
password.

2. If you can't get in as Administrator, get someone to download and burn
the NT Password Reset Disc for you: http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/
