As a result of injuries sustained in a major car
accident, my 21-year son, a Purdue student, does not
remember much, much less his user name and password for
Windows 2000. Any way to bypass user name and password,
or to reset the whole system? He has important school
data on the harddrive, which we cannot access because
other computers cannot read this drive when I treat this
drive as a slave and install into another computer.

Help!

Hi

You might try to reset the local Administrator
password with one of the methods mentioned here:

http://securityadmin.info/noframes/faqget.asp#password
