Lost Partition

O/s is Win98SE. Recently when trying to combine two partitions (D;
and E:)
using Paragon Partition Manager 2002 (provided as a "freebie" with a
PC
magazine) I "lost" E:

Now, drive/partition E: does not show up under My Computer (or
anywhere else) at all :-(

D drive did not increase in size........

I have tried using a file recovery program named PC Inspector and it
has
"found" the "missing" hard drive, but the "missing" hard drive does
not
have a drive letter.

PC Inspector shows:

Floppy Disk #1 (1.41Mb)
Fixed disk #2 (3.94b) This is the "missing" partition! (my
comment)
Windows Drive A:(1.41Mb)
Windows Drive C:(4.20Gb)
Windows Drive D:(4.26Gb)

Emailed Paragon 5 days ago and still not received any reply from them!
Seems they do not care to provide tech support :-(

Prepare a RESQ disk from http://resq.co.il/resq.php, boot from and run RESQDISK
/ASSESS. Post the report here and I'll show you how to recover the partition.

Or you could try RESQDISK /REBUILD right away.
